The warehouse is the official Quantum Technology repository. Inside you won’t find all the available QL software but only a limited selection.
Which parameters did we choose for this selection?
First of all we included only the programs we tested and used in our projects; we also listed only those that after our examination resulted to be solid, flexible and documented.

There is much software available for our platform, but most of it consists in amateur productions, often outdated or not fully tested. In the midst of this “sea” it is difficult to bring out what’s significant: this requires hours of research and testing.
We did this for you, providing you with everything you need in order to make your system as competitive as possible.

	Desktop	QDT - the Ql DeskTop QDT is a Dektop Manager for Hig Colour QL systems; it can create links to files or executables on the desktop, manage folders similar to the Mac-OS ones, set a wallpaper and several further utilities.
	Archivers	ACP - Archiver Control Panel ACP is a file compression and storage by Thierry Godefroy; it's a front end able to manage the main archive formats.
	Desktop	Qascade This software provides a graphic interface consisting of a set of cascade menus as a starting point to find files and programs. Qascade is completely configurable by user and offers several options to run programs.
	Graphics	QCOCO Qcoco is a powerful themes generator. It allows to configure the front ends in details. It can set 57 different kinds of objects, allows to try themes "on the fly" without saving or loading, it can save your vavorite color palettes. Provides a large number of preset themes.
	Graphics	QCP - Ql Colour Picker QCP is the best RGB color picker for QL. It's possible to select a color by moving the point and set brightness with the arrow. A mouse click sends it to "stuffer buffer" as a True Color value. A simple way to set colors during SBASIC programming, define your vavorite sixteen colors and save them into a file which is 100% compatible with the one utilized by QCoCo.
	Utility	QPAC1 QPAC1 provides a set of desktop widgets: calendar, calculator, clock and more.
	System	QPAC2 QPAC2 is a complete utility set for system management. It has a file manager, a set of programs to handle active jobs, "things" and open channels, and system defaults.
	System	FileInfo 2 Fileinfo 2 is a program by Thierry Godefroy to manage the context menus. This utility consist of two main parts: the extension and its configurator. With Fileinfo 2 is possible to link each extension to one or more actions, link them to different programs and make these actions controlled by the called program.
	System	Menu Config Menu Config is the standard configuration tool for the QL applications. The QL applications contain a configuration block, that is a standard formatted data area, which can be modified through this program.
	Developing	MicroEMACS MicroEMACS is a powerful text editor, originally designed for Unix environment. Provides a wide set of commands and advanced functions, and it's programmable through its own language. The QL version is a port by Thierry Godefroy, and it has been improved: it's integrated with Menu Extensions, Fileinfo2 and Client Server Manager; it has a set of cascade menus that you can "stick" on your desktop in order to get a faster access to commands.
	Languages	Structured S*Basic The Structured SuperBASIC is a metalanguage for SBASIC and SuperBASIC. It allows to overcome the formal limitations of BASIC in order to create professional applications.
	Languages	C68 C Ansi languagee for QL. The package includes compiler, libraries and documentation.
	Office	XCHANGE Integrated program with word processor, spreadsheet, database and business graphics. Derives from the four original softwares provided with QL. This new version includes the four programs in an unique executable, in a larger window with various improved functions. In spite of the fact that it's an objectively outdated software, it's still widely used; in particular Quill, the word processor, is still de facto the standard for documentation.
	Office	Paragraph Powerful WYSIWYG word processor by François Lanciault. You can divide text in columns, insert pictures, charts, graphic objects; supports Linedesign vector graphics. Utilizes vector fonts and Prowess printing drivers.
	Database	DBAS DBAS is an indexed files manager, originally developed by D.W. Howells and then by Phil Borman and Bob Spelten. It was the first to offer a command set utilizable by the main programming languages, so providing the possibility of develop managing applications capable of a wide data range support. It has various search methods and a really powerful and flexible filters system. The package includes extensions, programs for interactive file management, and a complete documentation about its commands.
	Database	Datadesign Datadesign is an indexed files manager developed by PROGS. In comparison with its predecessor and rival DBAS, Datadesign allows to manage a larger data amount and can manage also non-textual data (pictures, sounds etc.).
	Office	Linedesign Vector graphics application, fast and versatile. Supports Adobe Illustrator file format.
	Office	Vision Mixer 2 Created by Dilwyn Jones, this application can produce professional slide shows. Offers more than fifty different transition effects and can resize the pictures to the video resolution on the fly.
	System	ProWesS Developed by PROGS, PROWESS is a support package for applications and contains many programming libraries. The main component of this package is PROFORMA, the vector graphics library, and ProWesS, a window manager. This window manager utilizes PROFORMA, thus resulting in a system of windows with independent resolutions and colors. Furthermore there is a management system for external modules and shared libraries in order to interact with the operating system.
	Games	Minesweeper The everlasting minesweeper.
	Games	XOX A little puzzle game.
	Games	Atomix Put together the various elements in order to get the required chemical formula, all inside a maze.
	Games	QLotski Port of classic Klotski game, a puzzle with sliding blocks and increasing difficulty levels.
	Games	QJewels Another classic game: combine the gems to make groups of three.
	Games	SoQLoban A brain-teaser game. The player pushes some boxes in a top view maze, and tries to place them in their assigned place. The player is not allowed to move more boxes together, but only one. The boxes can not be pulled.
	Utility	Anaclock A little analog clock. It can be placed everywhere on the screen. It's possible to choose different kinds of clocks.
	System	Backup Backup application by Wolfgang Lenerz, very powerful and flexible. Surely the best of the QL backup softwares.
	System	BogoMIPS Benchmark application coming from Linux world and imported by Thierry Godefroy. BogoMips (from the words "bogus" = fake, useless, and "MIPS" = million instructions per second) is an informal CPU speed indicator, designed by Linus Torvalds and calculated by the Linux Kernel during the boot. Its goal is to calibrate the internal timing loops. This is determined calculating the time used to run a preset instruction cycle.
	Developing	BASConfig This program allows to manage the standard configuration blocks in the QL applications.
	Developing	Smash Smash is a compressor for executable file. The program stuffs the executable and attaches a piece of self-unpacking code, thus allowing to decrease the executable size. Very useful on limited mass storage memory systems. The unpacking time is balanced by a faster loading speed into memory of the program.
	Developing	EDDIcon EDDIcon is a sprite editor written by Duncan Neithercut able to take full advantage of QL GD2.
	Developing	Tookbox '98 Utility collection written by Adrian Yves many years ago, but still contemporary. It can search strings within files, compare files, massive copy of directory tree and many more.
	Office	Stiqqies Stiqqies, another nice program produced by Dilwyn Jones, is a "post-it" manager. You can stick them on your desktop: useful when you have lots of things to do.
	Utility	Snatch Little application to capture screenshots: the typical print screen utility.
	Graphics	Sqrview This application can manipulate and convert various image formats, both QL-native and the most commonly used as bitmaps.
	Graphics	BMP Application similar to Sqrview. The choice is up to you: it's only a matter of taste.
	Extensions	QLIBerator runtimes Runtme library for QLIBerator compiled programs.
	Office	Qdiary This program by Dilwyn Jones ia a little electronic organizer. It has few options but it's quick and efficient. Its GUI is simple and easy.
	Graphics	Photon This application is a JPG image viewer with some interesting options, for example the ability of setting your desktop picture. A wallpaper manager.
	Graphics	PhotoQL Photo QL, created by Roberto Porro, is an excellent JPG and GIF image viewer.
	Utility	Qhelp This program supplies online help for SMSQ/E commands.
	Developing	Qindex Qindex is an online help for all S*BASIC commands: a great assistance during programming.
	Extensions	EnvBin Environment variables manager, allows to create global variables to be read by any program.
	System	Clavier Keyboard configuration tool, allows to create custom layouts, modify the function key actions and many more.
	Extensions	Client Server Manager CSM, written by Jonathan Hudson, is a communication manager for jobs active in the same computer.
	Graphics	SPRV SPRV is a sprite viewer created by the prolific Dilwyn Jones.
	Database	SuQcess This application is an interactive DBAS file manager.
	Database	QBASE This application is an alternative DBAS file manager.
	Utility	PTRView This program by Dilwyn Jones is a text viewer, mainly utilized to read softwares documentation.
